Steven joined SHoP Architects in June of 2010, and currently co-directs the Africa Projects team and Revit Task Force amongst other office ventures.

From 2009 to 2013, Steven taught digital media seminars at Columbia University GSAPP + the University of Pennsylvania School of Design and assisted with design studios at Columbia University GSAPP. Steven has also served as a guest design critic at Columbia University GSAPP in the M.ARCH, AAD, + Intro to Architecture programs, at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design, and at the Pratt Institute School of Architecture.

Steven collaborated with Kate Orff + SCAPE PLLC for the Rising Currents P.S.1+MoMA Workshop, exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, New York City, 24 March to 11 October 2010.

Steven has collaborated on several local + international exhibition design + fabrication projects with KBAS (Philadelphia) and (New York + Rio de Janeiro) and has served as a research associate of the Urban Landscape Lab (New York City) coordinating digital fabrication + audio integration for the Safari 7 Reading Room + BaseCamp exhibits.

In a previous existence, Steven designed commercial, hospitality, + residential interiors for Benning Design Associates (Sacramento) and LIMN (Sacramento + San Francisco)

Steven launched thedisContinuum in 2009.
